It helps to have a good idea of what you want a wig to do for you. Do you want to wear wigs to change your look? Do you have hair loss or damage you want to cover without changing your natural hairs’ texture or color?
If you want a wig to change your look, decide which kind of hairstyles you want and find out which kind of hairstyle suits you better.
If you have hair loss or damage, start from getting the texture, color, style and length you would have if you were able to grow an adequate amount of hair on your head.

Do you lose your edges while wearing a lace wig? 

No, We wear wigs in order to look our best not because we want to lose our edges. Here are some things we do to ensure a proper installation while maintaining clients' natural hair underneath:

(1)  Glue the wig in the right position - We carefully trim the lace back so it lines up with your hairline. We do not apply too far with risk of scalp irritation, nor too close, or you risk applying glue to your natural hair.
(2) Choose the proper glue when securing your lace front - We make sure to choose the right glue to suit your lifestyle & needs. 
(3) Test your skin for sensitivity before applying glue.
(4) Disinfect the inside of the wig with alcohol.

 

How long will a human lace wig last?

The wig itself can last 6 months to a year with proper care and storage. Most clients buy wigs once a month or every two months because they prefer to change hairstyles often. While others prefer to buy wigs about once or twice a year.

What is the difference between a lace front wig & full lace wig

Lace front wigs have a lace mesh at the front of the wig cap to give it a more natural and subtle look. These types of wigs can be worn in multiple styles, including keeping the hair away from the face, because if applied properly, the hairline is almost invisible and the scalp can be seen through the mesh.


Full lace wigs have a fully covered, 360-degree lace-base from the hairline to the nape of the neck which covers the whole head. It is a very versatile wig that can be worn in multiple styles.


The difference: A full lace wig has more wear options, and the wig cap is softer and more comfortable, as it is totally made with lace and thus more breathable.

How long can I leave lace wig on my head?

Typically, the average wearing time is about 10 hours a day, depending on your lifestyle. Normally the unit is only lightly glued down or no glue at all. 
If the wig is completely glued down you could leave them on for around a week, if cared for properly. 
 

Here we have some suggestions:
a. If you’re wearing the wig as a protective style, take it off every night.
b. If you’re suffering from hair loss, ask your doctor before committing to glue or tape.

Can I sleep in my wig?

Sleeping in your wig is not generally recommended but it is very possible to sleep in your wig without damaging the hair, as long as you don't do so on an everyday basis.

Glueless wigs are hand-knotted to offer a natural look. These types of wigs can stay on the head without using tape or glue adhesive. Women wear this type of wig for various reasons. ... Glueless wigs are the safest types of natural hair wigs in the market.

Do wigs damage your hairline?

When one wears a wig, the blood flow on the scalp is less since the wig is tightly attached to the head. Cotton or nylon wig caps are not very good since they can damage your hairline and hinder hair growth. The best wig liners are the ones made of gel as they protect your hairline and skin.

How long can wigs stay on?

Human hair wigs can last over one year with proper care. Synthetic wigs can last up to six months. If synthetic wigs are heat-friendly, their lifespan may be shorter. Whichever you choose, the less you wear it, the longer it will last.

Can wearing wigs stop hair growth?

No, wearing a wig does not stop hair growth. However, if the hair underneath your wig isn't properly protected or looked after, damage to your hair can be caused, affecting growth.
